Finding halal food in China
shouldn't be a struggle.
Halal in China is being built for Muslim travelers from around the world. Find halal restaurants, understand local information and reach places more easily — even when you don't speak Chinese.
Why I'm building Halal in China
I'm a Muslim software developer. While traveling in China, finding halal food became a real challenge.
I discovered halal restaurants and Muslim-friendly places that were difficult to find online: some were missing from international search engines, others were hard to identify in local services when you don't read Chinese.
That experience gave me the idea for Halal in China: a simple, multilingual service designed around the real needs of Muslim travelers.
For Muslim travelers
Whether you are visiting China for tourism, business, study, sourcing or a family trip, the goal is simple: help you spend less time searching and more time enjoying your journey.
Discover halal restaurants by city, proximity and cuisine.
Understand the halal information available for each establishment and distinguish checked documents from restaurant declarations.
See useful information in your language plus Chinese names and addresses when needed.
Use practical destination information to reach the restaurant more easily.
For halal restaurant owners in China
Halal in China is also designed to help halal restaurant owners become visible to Muslim travelers who may never discover them through their usual search tools.
- Reach international Muslim travelers
- Present your restaurant in multiple languages
- Show menus, opening hours, photos and practical information
- Provide Chinese and international address formats
- Submit halal documentation for clear presentation
- Promote special offers and, later, access advertising tools
Built to cover China broadly
The project is designed to expand progressively across mainland China as well as Hong Kong and Macau. Coverage will grow as verified restaurant information becomes available.
